Last updated 20 August 2026. Using mp3fy means you agree to these terms. They are short on purpose.
The service
mp3fy converts audio and video files to MP3 — on your device when possible, in the cloud when you ask it to. It is provided free of charge, without accounts, and supported by donations. There are no file-size or duration limits; to keep the service healthy for everyone there are rate limits on how many cloud jobs one person can start in a short time.
Your files
Your files remain yours. mp3fy claims no rights over anything you convert. You are responsible for making sure you have the right to convert the files you process — only convert content you own or are licensed to use.
Acceptable use
Don’t use mp3fy to process unlawful content, don’t attempt to disrupt or overload the service, and don’t try to circumvent its bot protection or rate limits. We may block traffic that abuses the service.
No warranty
mp3fy is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind. We work hard to make conversions accurate and the service reliable, but we can’t guarantee uninterrupted availability or that every file converts perfectly. Keep your originals. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim related to the service is limited to the amount you paid us to use it — which is nothing.
Retention
Cloud uploads are deleted right after conversion; cloud results expire one hour after first download and after 24 hours at the latest. Device conversions never leave your browser. Details in the privacy policy.
Changes
We may update these terms; the date above changes when we do. Continuing to use mp3fy after a change means you accept the updated terms.
